
Proposals will be reviewed on
the basis of how well they meet the following criteria and
guidelines:

Need
Demonstrates a compelling need that is verifiable.
Timely
Shows a sense of urgency.
Local Ownership
Provides for some financial and/or in-kind support that uses volunteers.
Credible Sponsor
Has dependable, quality administration, staff
and accountability.
Innovative
Has the potential for new initiatives, directions or
methods.
Multiplication
Has potential for learning’s that may benefit others
in similar work.
Short Term
Are limited to one year at a time grants and not more
than two consecutive
years.
Partial
Will provide
only a portion of the total need.
Matching
Special consideration may be given when additional support can be leveraged through
matching grants.
Seeding
Has the probability of giving birth to a successful, self-Supporting
program.
